Little Foodies
(2023-2024)
This program used a Farm to Table approach to teach young children all about where their food comes from, new culinary skills and most importantly how plant foods can support their microbiome and overall health.
Once a month, we had a vegetable in the garden that we’d base a recipe on. The kids would harvest the veggie and go on to cook the recipe. This gave them huge confidence to try new foods and flavours.
Family Nutrition Foundations
(2024-CURRENT)
This was created for the Foundation Learning Centre, as a way to educate young mums on the Foundations of Nutrition. Using cooking and excursions to the supermarket, I focused on increasing their capability in the kitchen to create family friendly meals that were nutrient dense, while also saving them time and money. The mums loved the hands-on approach and recipes they could take home and make for their families
